• Sahil Project from Coventry has been announced as one of 95 volunteering groups from across the UK winning 2009 year’s Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, recognising the outstanding contributions made to local communities by groups voluntarily devoting their time for the benefit of others.

• Sahil was nominated the project of the year in 2006 by Pride of Coventry and Warwickshire Community Awards.
  

• Sahil Project was invited to attend a women and youth Conference in Leipzig in Germany June 2007.
  
• Ten volunteers received their certificates from the Lord Mayor of
• Coventry for completing OCR accredited Training in Basic Counselling skills.
  
• Volunteer Co- ordinator (Kinder) completed Certificate in Counselling level 3.
  
• Project Manger (Rani) successfully completed a level 3 module in Practice Learning Supervision.
